Please note: All classes are suitable for all levels. Instructors welcome all participants prior to the beginning of class. If you are new, please come 5 minutes early to speak with the instructor to help ensure the class is a positive experience.

Unlimited Signature Classes (white classes) are included in your membership. Classes with low registrants may be replaced with another class next session. AEROFLEX reserves the right to change the exercise class schedule at any time. This includes the addition or deletion of classes, as well as change in instructors, class times and length of classes.

Spin Interval:

Join this class on Monday mornings at 9:15 a.m. and start your week out right with this spin and strength combo class, interval format. Interval training enables you to safely move beyond your current fitness level by challenging yourself with short, manageable bursts of intensity. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity for a great cardiovascular workout and effective, instructor-guided muscular training.

Cardio & Core:

Get ready for an energetic, athletic, and non-choreographed combo class beginning with a cardiovascular component that makes use of the step and high/low impact movements on the floor to challenge you with intervals, and then a strength and flexibility component that targets the typically weak and tight postural muscles, specifically the abdominals and mid-to-lower back.

Spin & Strength:

Rev up your mid-week energy on Wednesday mornings with this combo class of an indoor cycling component with hills, drills, sprints, and a heart-pumping good time, then strength and endurance training component targeting all major muscle groups.

X-Train Circuit:

This class has been a CLASSIC at Aeroflex for the past several years! Come join the fun on Thursday mornings! An experienced and innovative instructor will have you moving through a variety of exercises set up circuit-style around the room, targeting all major muscles groups, including your heart, for improved cardiovascular fitness, as well as muscular strength and endurance.

Cardio and More:

Aeroflex members have been stepping, jumping, and lifting weights in this fabulous class for almost 15 years, and it is truly one of the industry’s bests in Edmonton and area. Come Wednesday nights at 5:45 p.m. for this signature class and have so much fun that you will barely realize how hard you are working.

Spin:

Indoor cycling is the perfect way to challenge your current fitness level and have fun at the same time. Because it’s non-impact, you can work intensely without stressing your joints. Come on in and join this class for a heart-pumping good time.

Total Body Strength:

Strength training is essential for every adult to prevent loss of lean tissue every year past the age 25. Keep your metabolism high, your body fat low, and experience the many other health benefits of a regular strength training routine. Join this amazing class on Monday nights for a non-cardiovascular workout that targets strength and endurance of all major muscle groups. It is an excellent opportunity for instructor-guided muscular training that is safe and effective.

Yoga:

Keep balance in your fitness regimen and in your life with this classical Hatha Yoga class where you experience specific techniques and poses, breathing and relaxation exercises. Each class focuses on the integration of mind, body, and spirit, and the development of joint flexibility, muscular strength, and body awareness that is essential for healthy posture.

TRX Fitness Camp:

Take your fitness level to a whole new dimension with the TRX suspension Trainer. The TRX Suspension Trainer is an original bodyweight-based portable training tool. This is the newest dynamic category of exercise for athletes of all levels and abilities. The TRX will leverage one’s own bodyweight and gravity to develop strength, balance, flexibility and joint stabilization simultaneously. TRX training builds core strength with every exercise by creating an element of instability that calls on your core to provide balance and coordination. Kickboxing Bootcamp:

In the Gym with Jaime:

This camp blends resistance training with cardio training to strengthen/tone muscles and quickly blast away fat in a supportive, well supervised environment. EXPECTED RESULTS: Weight loss, increased muscle tone; decreased body fat; increased strength; lower resting heart rate; and increased energy to make it through your demanding day! THE EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE RESULTS: Jamie has kept up to date with the hottest training trends today! She is a certified Kickboxing Instructor with Fitness Kickboxing Canada, a certified SPIN Instructor with Mad Dog Athletics, a certified Personal Trainer, and certified TRX Suspension Trainer… as seen on The Biggest Loser this season! She has operated In The Gym With Jaime Fitness Camps since October 2007, encouraging 82 campers along the way! Ask reception for references!

Hurricane Rush:

Hurricane training is a favourite conditioning tool among many athletes. Hurricane training causes a major disruption to your body allowing you to burn loads of calories and fat both during the workout and for days afterward. Join Joel Wickens for this powerful sports conditioning camp involving several different exercise stations focusing on agility, speed, strength, flexibility and cardiovascular activity.
